OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio

Flight: Douglas Lane

A resident reported that a package was stolen from his residence on August 13. He said the packaging was in the trash, but the contents of the package – an external hard drive and a USB plug – were missing. There was no mention of possible suspects.

Parked car: Fernwood Drive

An officer fined two cars on August 12 that were parked after legal hours on the street.

Speeding: boulevard Lindberg

A motorist was charged with speeding at 5:18 a.m. on August 12.

Suspicious car: Lewis Road

An officer saw an unoccupied car at 10:02 p.m. on August 13 in the East River Park lot. He found his owner and warned him of the opening hours of the park.

Drunk Driving: Bagley Road

An officer on leave called police about a car that crashed into several sidewalks and mailboxes at 11:16 p.m. on August 13.

Police found the motorist at Speedway. He was arrested for drunk driving. Strongsville Prison refused to accept the man, so he was returned to Olmsted Falls, where the man’s wife picked him up.

Speeding: Elm Street

An officer cited a motorist on August 14 for speeding. He noted that the driver was charged with the same summons on August 11.

Juveniles: Nobottom Road

A resident called the police about a group of children playing ding-dong-ditch. They rang the doorbell of the resident and fled. The caller, who said this had happened in recent nights, wanted police to drive into the area.
